This course is designed to assist the student to learn how to recognize and interpret information using drawings and specifications. Application of principles and rules for takeoff, calculation of areas and volumes, and the measuring of quantities for Civil structures and designs. Proper units of measure, formulas and calculations will enable the student to arrive at quantities for purposes of applying cost components.
