This lecture/lab course introduces the student to concepts of the microprocessor as it is used in industrial process applications. System bus architecture, data manipulation, Input/Output functions, analog to digital conversions, digital to analog conversions and interrupts are studied. Emphasis is placed on proper program development, flow-charting and hardware requirements.
