A study of the physiology, analysis, and diagnostic significance of biochemical compounds, electrolytes and gases in biological fluids, and their relationship with the function of different body systems including liver, cardiovascular, and kidney. Various types of ligand assays, toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring, and diagnostic tests on body fluids other than blood will also be covered.
