Communication to Students
Dear Students:
Welcome back to our returning students and a first time welcome to our new students. We are looking forward to having you as part of our St. Clair College, Ace Acumen Academy family. We truly hope that your experience at St. Clair College will be a wonderful one.
To kick off the Fall 2023 semester, St. Clair College, Ace Acumen Academy is asking all students to complete three (3) training modules. It is our hope that these modules will assist you, as a student, in understanding your responsibilities and rights as identified in College policies, and the institutional resources available to keep you safe. The College is requiring all students to take these modules for Fall 2023.
The modules are:
- Academic Integrity and the Student Code of Rights and Responsibilities
- Sexual Violence Prevention and Response
- Emergency Response.
Each module will be posted on your Blackboard site and will take approximately twenty (20) minutes to complete. Of course, more time is permitted if required.
All students are being asked to complete this training by November 30, 2023. We are making these modules available now so that you have as much time as possible to complete them. To encourage early completion, we are offering a draw for $500 bursaries to students who have completed the three (3) modules by September 5, 2023. On September 6, 2023, we will select forty (40) names randomly from the list of all students who have fully completed all three (3) modules. Bursary recipients will then be notified.
Follow-up emails will be sent to you with a deadline reminder. Once you have completed all three modules, you will no longer receive reminder emails.
If you have any questions about this training initiative, please reference the FAQ's below. If additional questions remain, please email info@stclaircollege.ca.
