Bronze Medalists - Men's Soccer 2023

The St. Clair College men's soccer team won their first-ever national medal on Saturday afternoon by defeating the Keyano College Huskies from Alberta 4-1 at the CCAA National Championship at Acumen Stadium. The bronze medal game was a rematch between the Saints and the Huskies. Both teams met on the opening day of matches, with the Saints winning 3-1.

The Huskies were seeking revenge as they had to go through the bronze medal bracket. The match started well for the Saints as they dominated the play and threatened to score. In the 36th minute, St. Clair was awarded a free kick just outside the top left of the 18-yard box. Riley Drkulec stepped up and blew the ball past the keeper for the match's first goal.

From then on, the Saints never looked back. Thanks to Ezra Fogal, they added a second goal right before the halftime whistle. The Saints would then add two more goals in the second half, courtesy of Tanner Page. The Huskies would get a goal in the 89th minute by Caleb Kehler.

The 4imprintcanada players of the game were Tanner Page and Dino Hronopoulos from Keyano.

St. Clair's Massimo Pollard was named a Tournament All-Star and won the Exemplary Leadership Award.
